The steel slope steps in the MAXI variant are 300 mm deep and can be 300mm, 440 mm or 580 mm wide. Steel slope steps in the MIDI variant have a depth of 250 mm and a width of 200 mm, 365 mm or 480 mm and steel slope steps in the MINI variant have a step depth of 200 mm and are either 200 mm, 290 mm or 380 mm wide. In this context, the question arises as to which external steel stair treads you should choose and on which factors you should make your choice dependent. This is not just a matter of personal preference, but primarily a matter of building safe steel external stair treads or a safe steel embankment step.

If your slope has a maximum gradient of 35 degrees, you can choose the MAXI version of the steel slope steps, the MIDI version of the steel slope steps is recommended for a maximum gradient of 40 degrees and the MINI version of the steel slope steps for a maximum gradient of 45 degrees.
