Slope steps type "Mini" are suitable for slope inclination up to 45 degrees! If the slope is bigger, you can work with the extension bars if necessary.

The slope step is supplied in galvanised steel with powder coating. The bar (one threaded bar per slope step is included in the step price) is supplied in galvanised steel. The bars have a tolerance of +/- 1 mm in length.

Fading of the coating does not take place, but wear and tear due to walking and weathering is unavoidable. At the pointed ends of the feet of the steps, it is possible that the coating may come off, as the paint application has little adhesive surface. The points mentioned above do not constitute grounds for complaint!

When installing with tools (e.g. a hammer, mallet, spirit level, etc.), it is essential to ensure that the surface of the slope step is well covered and protected. The surface is sensitive. Working with sharp objects and under pressure can cause injuries and scratches on the coated surface.

2. Safety

Use work gloves and safe, sturdy footwear when transporting, assembling and dismantling the steps.

During assembly, make sure that the slope steps are firmly anchored.  In any case, use the steel rod and make sure that it protrudes evenly on the right and left. Carry out a load test to check that the steps do not give way in the soil.

When assembling, make sure that the tread surface has a slight inclination towards the slope. Make sure that you do not get overweight and tip over to the front.

Only step on the steps with sturdy shoes.

Do not step on the steps during or after rain, wetness, ice or snow. When stepping onto the steps after rain, wetness, ice or snow, check that the steps do not give way in the ground and that there is good stability.

3. Use

The steps serve to improve the accessibility of slopes and embankments. The steps may only be used for this purpose (i.e. for the intended use).

Only healthy persons with unrestricted walking ability who are sure of their steps and footing may use the steps. If you are unsure, please refrain from using them!



4. Maintenance

Make sure that the steps are always free of dirt, soil, leaves, twigs and the like. This is the only way to ensure a safe step and a secure footing.



5. Liability

When handling the slope steps purchased, the manufacturer's information and instructions as well as the information on the safety instructions (see point 2. Safety and also enclosed in the box with the steps) must be observed. Defective products must be taken out of service immediately. The liability of Hangstufen.de and its vicarious agents is in any case limited to intent, gross negligence and breach of material contractual obligations. Liability for damage resulting from use of the purchased product contrary to its intended purpose is excluded. In the event of negligent breach of material contractual obligations, liability shall be limited to the foreseeable typical damage. Claims for injury to life, body and health as well as product liability claims remain unaffected by this.
