Slope step accessories for a safe step

Everything under control: slope step accessories for a safe step

Slope steps are a good and effective way of making rough terrain in the garden safe and ensuring a firm footing. For the best possible installation, we offer a wide range of slope step accessories that simplify the installation and maintenance of our slope steps.

Safety and functionality are the most important aspects of our slope steps. Thanks to a clever and equally simple concept, our slope steps can be installed in just a few minutes. However, depending on the specific requirements of the terrain, it may be necessary to use special slope step accessories.

You can find these in our slope steps accessories shop. We have put together various products specifically for the installation and maintenance of our slope steps to make your work easier and ensure safe footing in your garden all year round. Below we would like to show you which accessories are available for slope steps and how best to use them.

What are slope steps?

Our slope steps are special, specially designed construction elements that you can install along slopes or steep slopes in your garden to make it easier and safer to walk on these areas. They serve as steps or stair treads on uneven terrain and thus provide access to places that are otherwise difficult to reach. Unlike conventional steps, which are arranged in horizontal planes, our slope steps can be adapted to the incline of the terrain using the accessories. This results in a safe walking surface even on sloping terrain.

Extension poles for steep terrain

Extension poles are an important component when it comes to slope step accessories. You can use these easily and with the help of screws to install the slope steps even on very steep terrain. To do this, the extension poles are connected to the original slope step on the left, right or both sides as required. Depending on the situation and slope, you therefore have the option of extending the slope step by 19 to 31 centimetres. All in all, our extension poles offer you a flexible solution for adapting slope steps to different inclinations and making access to steep terrain safer and more comfortable.

As the loads on slope steps in very steep terrain are extremely high when stepping on them, we generally recommend attaching the extensions from the slope step accessories with two screws each. The advantages of the extension poles are also manifold and cannot be reduced solely to making steep terrain accessible. You also benefit from the accessories for slope steps:

- Increased safety: By extending the slope steps, safer and more comfortable access routes can be created on steep terrain.

- Flexibility: The variable length of the extension poles enables adaptation to different slopes and terrains.

- Stability: The robust design, the use of sturdy stainless steel and secure fastening mean that extension poles provide a stable base for the slope steps, even under extreme conditions.

Replacement threaded rods from our slope stair accessories shop

The threaded rods are the basis of our slope steps to anchor them firmly to the ground and ensure a safe step. If they are lost or damaged, you can find replacements in our slope tread accessories. The replacement threaded rods in our slope step accessories are made of galvanised steel and are 8 mm thick. They are suitable for the installation of ‘Mini’, ‘Midi’ and ‘Maxi’ size slope steps.

Order knee pad with grip hole in our slope step accessories shop

When installing our slope steps, depending on the terrain, you may have to work in a bent or kneeling position for a long period of time. This inevitably leads to strain. To make your work as easy as possible, you will find a practical knee pad with a grip hole in our accessories for slope steps. This helps to protect your knees during assembly and avoid pressure points and pain.

Pocket spirit level and metre rule as practical slope step accessories

The pocket spirit level, which you can also find in our accessories for slope steps, is a practical and handy tool that will help you when installing slope steps. Unlike conventional spirit levels, which are larger and usually used for larger construction projects, the pocket spirit level is small, compact and portable, making it ideal for use in confined spaces or hard-to-reach places, as is the case when installing slope steps.

You can use the pocket spirit level from our slope steps accessories to ensure precise alignment of the slope steps. This is important for two reasons. On the one hand, these accessories for slope steps ensure that all elements are correctly aligned. On the other hand, it helps you to adjust the slope steps to the incline of the terrain. This is hardly possible with the naked eye. However, this is essential for a safe step. If slope steps are installed with and against the slope, there is a risk of slipping on them. Thanks to the pocket spirit level from our slope step accessories, you can minimise this risk and also get a practical helper for other construction projects.

Our accessories for slope steps also include a small metre rule. We have deliberately opted for a 1 metre version with a link length of 10 cm. This enables you to measure even small distances between the slope steps with this precise slope step accessory and ensure that all steps are positioned exactly.

The rubber mallet - slope step accessories for safe and clean installations

In addition to the products already mentioned, you will also find a practical rubber mallet in our slope steps accessories shop, which we recommend for installing our slope steps. These slope step accessories are essential for several reasons.

The surfaces of our slope steps are primarily intended to ensure that you have a safe step in all conceivable positions and areas in the future. However, they also have added aesthetic value. To avoid damaging the surfaces and therefore the appearance of the slope treads during installation, the practical rubber mallet is an essential slope tread accessory that you can order directly from our slope tread accessories shop. It not only protects the surface, but also contributes to controlled force transmission. This is essential when it comes to installing the slope steps accurately.
