Galvanised steel railing
Galvanised steel railing
Galvanised steel railings - safety in your own garden
Galvanised steel railings are the ideal complement to the slope steps for your garden. While the slope steps themselves provide access to rough terrain, a galvanised steel railing provides additional support. This means that installing steel railings outside increases safety. Nevertheless, there are some aspects that you should be aware of and pay attention to. For example, there are clear differences between galvanised and non-galvanised steel. It is also important to work meticulously during installation.
Galvanised steel railings are easy to install
If you would like to secure your slope steps with an additional galvanised steel railing, we have the ideal solution for you. Our railings are 125 cm and 12 mm wide. They therefore offer the necessary robustness on the one hand and a way to hold on to the slope steps when using them on the other. The installation itself requires no special prior knowledge, as the railing poles are simply pressed into the ground.
It is important to ensure that the stakes are driven about 25 cm deep into the ground. This ensures sufficient support. As the final height is around 100 cm, the galvanised steel railing is easy to grip and you should calculate with around eight bars per running metre. An end bar is also required to complete the finished railing. Before you order the railing bars, you should therefore always measure the length of railing required and how many bars are needed to complete the railing.
The advantages of our galvanised steel railings
Our railings offer a number of advantages for use in the home garden. They are easy to move at any time, which means that they can be easily dismantled and reassembled at another location. This makes them extremely flexible and adaptable to changing needs and design ideas - for example, if you want to redesign your garden and move the slope steps.
In addition, their simple construction allows them to be installed in corners and curves, which makes it easier to design garden areas and gives them aesthetic variety.
Galvanised railings in the garden - here are the differences
If you want to use galvanised railings in your garden, you benefit from numerous positive properties. However, it is important to note that non-galvanised railings also have individual advantages.
Basically, galvanised steel railings are characterised by the fact that they are corrosion-resistant. Galvanised steel is coated with a layer of zinc that protects it from rust. This is particularly important outdoors, where railings are exposed to the elements. This makes galvanised steel railings an ideal choice for unprotected areas in the garden to begin with.
Galvanised steel is also a good option in terms of service life. Galvanised steel has a longer service life compared to non-galvanised steel. The zinc coating forms a barrier against corrosion and can significantly extend the service life of the material. This also means that galvanised steel railings do not need to be regularly painted or sealed to protect them from rust.
One possible disadvantage of galvanised steel is that it is not as aesthetically pleasing as non-galvanised steel. The reason for this is the often matt and silvery surface of the processed steel. If you want to create a different visual appeal in your garden, you can opt for non-galvanised steel for your external steel railing, which we also offer.
The biggest advantage of the non-galvanised version is its attractive appearance, although this is particularly important in the interior. It should also be borne in mind that non-galvanised steel is much more susceptible to rust and therefore requires more maintenance. For this reason, we recommend galvanised steel railings for outdoor use.
Galvanised steel railings - the ideal addition to your garden
Our railings are an effective choice for securing the slope steps in your garden. They offer numerous advantages, including easy installation, adaptability to different terrain shapes and the ability to move them if necessary. Their robust construction and ease of use make them a practical solution for increasing safety in the garden.
